Up until about June this plug-in work perfectly and so I never needed to check up on it but I’ve found now that it has not being working. When I run the plug-in nothing is sent to my Dropbox account. I’ve un-installed the plug-in and downloaded and reinstalled the latest version and re-linked to my Dropbox account. I’ve moved the last backup that worked back in June to a separate folder and rerun a backup. The plug-in lists the steps its taking in WordPress but nothing appears in the Dropbox folder.

I have almost the same problem, i setup the plugin and for some reason only a few files has been put on the dropbox.
And this is the backup log.

    15:47:06 : Backup complete.
    15:47:06 : A total of 5 files were processed.
15:47:02 : Backing up WordPress path at (/srv/http/client/public_html/).
15:47:02 : Creating SQL backup of your WordPress plugins.
15:47:02 : Creating SQL backup of your WordPress core.
    15:46:47 : Backup started on Monday November 5, 2012.

Is there any way to fix this ? I LOVE this plugin, but it would be nice if it worked.

I’ve been poking around a bit and found a backup under Apps/wpb2d in my Dropbox folder. This appears to be the current backup, but why has it moved and if so when did they tell us?

@ Mark – The plugin changed to use the Dropbox ‘App Folder’ feature as of version 1.1. This is because it is much more secure.

The cool thing about the app folder is you can move it anywhere you want in your Dropbox and rename it to what you wish. I have mine in my Dropbox root named ‘Blog Backups’.

@oscartro – Please ensure that you have not excluded any files in the file exclude widget.
