Hi, I’m using WooCommerce PDF Invoices & Packing Slips version 1.6.6 and all was working fine yesterday but today all I get is ‘No block-level parent found. Not good.’ when I try to open a pdf invoice to print.
I’m running Flatsome Child theme and have tried upgrading the plugin previously but have never been able to get any version above 1.6.6 to work. When I open a pdf all I get is pages of gobbledy gook, therefore always have to go back to version 1.6.6.
When we communicated previously you suggested updating my Flatsome Child theme which I have done and the result was the same.
I didn’t worry to much or get back in contact because essentially the plugin still did what I wanted it to do, except now it has stopped working.
I’ve searched this forum and google and can find potential solutions but I think they will only work on versions above 2.0
I also have WooCommerce PDF Invoices & Packing Slips Premium Templates installed and activated but can’t upgrade that as it requires the other plugin to be updated as well.
    Any advice would be appreciated,
    Best wishes, Chris

    Hello Chris,
Can you send us an email at [email protected]? Since you have a premium templates license, you are entitled to priority support. The only way forward in this case will probably be updating to 2.1, as the PDF library used in 1.6.6 (which is an external component) is not compatible with newer versions of PHP.
The ‘gobbledy gook’ output you were getting may simply be a matter of reinstalling the fonts (which, in 2.0+ you can do via PDF Invoices > Status > Reinstall fonts).

Anyway, send us an email (include your license key or order number) and we’ll do our best to resolve this!

Issue was indeed solved by updating to 2.1 (which fixes the “No block-level parent found” error) and reinstalling fonts (which fixes the gobbledy gook output)!
