After having followed your installation instructions, I receive the below msg.

You didn’t setup any blog relationships! You have to setup them first to use Multilingual Press. For this, go to Network ? Sites ? and choose a blog to edit. Then go to the tab “Multilingiual Press” and set up the relationships.

    I am running WP 3-5-1

How do I create the necessary blogs to set up a relationship between them?

Also, I do not have a tab ‘Multilingual Press’, but this may be because of the above error

    Kind regards
    Torben

    Hi trugge,

the tab ‘Multilingual Press’ on the network admin should be available. If not please check if you having any javascript errors. Please deactivate other plugins and switch to default theme to check which causes the javascript error.

    regards,
    Robert

    Hi again,
    1) The Multilingual Press tab is not available on the Network Admin page
    2) The warning message (see above) tells me to create two blogs and then establish relationships between them
How do I create the blogs?

I do not receive any Javascript error messages

    Kind regards
    Torben

assumption: wp is installed on the root of your domain

A blog is a site. Add new sites at:
    youdomain.com/wp-admin/network/sites.php

Now link them via the multilingual press tab on the same page:
hover over the path and then click edit. You’ll see the multilingual press tab from there.
    eg: yourdomain.com/wp-admin/network/site-info.php?id=1

    Thanks restonUSE.
I found my way to establish the relationships.

Are you an experienced multilingual site administrator?
If so I have other questions, but if not I shall not disturb you

i have the same problem “Missing or invalid site address.” when setup the new site . When i put mydomain.com/es , any solution.

    Hi fabyword,

Missing or invalid site address is an error message from WordPress, not from our plugin. It means you forgot to fill the first field in /wp-admin/network/site-new.php, or the value is not a valid address. It should be lower case and contain the letters a–z, a - or numbers, nothing else.
