    Hi

When visitors try to book this free event – https://ordinarytheology.com/event/reading-group-athanasius-on-the-incarnation-dec-2024/ – once they checkout and complete their details (name, email address etc) they’re taking to a “Bookings Detail” page.

At some point recently, after a successful checkout, visitors are now seeing the message “No booking found!” in this page which is disconcerting for them. I’ve had a couple of visitors contact me about this message and they also both made duplicate bookings as a precaution (shame the event is free!),

Note: The booking does appear to have been made successfully (I.e. I receive a confirmation email of the new user registration and the booking). It’s just the error message seems spurious.

    Would appreciate any assistance

    Thanks!

I have the following plugins installed (and all set to auto update):

    • EventPrime – Modern Events Calendar, Bookings and Tickets 4.0.3.1
    • EventPrime Guest Bookings 4.0
    • EventPrime MailChimp integration 4.0

You can replicate the issue by using the url provided and making a booking.

    The problem remains. Please advise.

I downloaded versions 4.2 of both the MailChimp and Guest Booking extensions but when I try to update them, upon activation of either I see the following message…

Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.

    Please advise.

Ok… since my downloads folder already contained folders & files for both plugins, when I downloaded them again, my Mac renamed the top level folders with a “2” suffix. So my guess is when I zipped these up and tried to uploaded them as a plugin, on unpacking the zip, WordPress retained the “2” suffix for the top level folder name, which made WordPress (or EventPrime) unhappy.

So, I renamed the download folders for both extensions before zipping, and then after uploading and activating the plugins both have updated successfully to v4. I’ll add that to the “things you need to know when downloading and uploading plugins” list ??

I’m happy to report that the original reported issue… “No booking found!” message… after making a successful booking”… has been resolved.

    Thanks for the assistance!
