No buttons for Authors

it seems like while logged-in as an author WP isn’t able to load shortcode-pro tinyMce plugins … editor looks for them in the wrong place (dafault TinyMce plugins location) giving back a 404 and this breaks everything.
But why?
Which are the capabilities required by the plugin?
