• Earlier, I thought there was no captcha feature, because try as I might, I could see none. I was using the simple pre-made templates…

According to others, there is a captcha feature though. I think it can be made more prominent and easy to see?

So, changing my review to reflect this.

PS: I already replaced the plugin though, with another one that has a captcha 2 days ago, prior to editing this review. I may use this again for other sites in future, if it is really the perfect contact form plugin.

  • There is Captcha, it is powered by Google captcha and you can see that in “Settings” tab, it will be something like “recaptcha”.

It will ask you for secret keys and sites keys which you can get by creating an account here: https://www.google.com/recaptcha/intro/index.html

Once you enter the site keys and secret keys, visit the form you created and click on “Edit”, then visit Settings >> General >> Tick mark “Enable Recaptcha” and save settings.

    Bliss7,

For spam protection, there are 3 options in WPForms. Any or all of them can be enabled at one time.

We have a built-in spam honeypot, which is enabled by default for EVERY form. https://cl.ly/0e1e0c0l0G1D

We have an integration with Google’s reCAPTCHA https://wpforms.com/docs/setup-captcha-wpforms/

We also have an integration with the popular WordPress Zero Spam plugin (https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/zero-spam/). Simply install and activate the plugin and you are protected.

We’d appreciate it if you would re-review WPForms with the information above taken into consideration. Thanks!
