NO CATEGORIES showing under Categories

Hey guys

this is a wierd one today, all of a sudden in the widget area under categories it started showing “no categories”, so i logged into wp-admin and went to the post area and then categories, i couldnt see no categories in there either, what on earth is going on, i havent got a clue.

how do i resolve this, i even went into phpadmina and clicked on all 12 tables and press repair, they all came back stating ok..

i even de-activiated the plugins and still the same.

can anyone help me on this please, as its hapened to nearly 15 blogs of mine!!!
