No change to DB size despite deleting hundreds of revisions

Hi. I installed this plugin on a site that had a lot of Page and Post revisions and ran the optimiser. It says that the revisions are deleted but the Database said it had increased in size from 10Mb to 14Mb.
After refreshing the page it says the Database is still 10Mb, same as it was before.
Is there some kind of error?
