I’m using updated WP and WooCommerce, but my conversion tracking code does not appear when I check the source.. Logged in, or out…

I only have Add Enhanced Ecommerce Tracking Code, checked in the settings page…

On a google analytics page it says a correct code looks like this
“and shows example code” one part of this is
    var google_conversion_id = 123456789;

So when i view source, I do a Ctrk F and look for the word conversion..

    Its not there, any advice?

    Hi,

Thank you for reaching out us.

I just want to confirm, if you mean the following:
When you installed our plugin, you observed that the conversion id tracking code went missing. And you want to know if that happened due to our plugin, right?

If that’s case, then I am sorry to say that our plugin only adds the required Enhanced Ecommerce tracking codes & may not be the reason for the removal of your conversion id tracking code.

    Hope this helps!

    Thank you,

No not quite what I mean..

I was using your plugin for google conversion tracking.
I just updated wordpress finally, and woocommerce, and now the conversion tracking code is no longer being displayed in the source.

    Hi,

Thank you for clarifying your query.

Since you mention about using our plugin for google conversion tracking I want to inform you that our plugin only helps you track Enhanced Ecommerce reports in Google Analytics.

Our plugin does not help you with Google Conversion Tracking.

    Hope this helps ??

    Oooh I see!

It appears, that I have regular ecommerce data reports still coming through…

Is the enhanced code, also enough to satisfy regular ecommerce reporting too?

    Thank you!

    Hi,

Yes, Enhanced Ecommerce code satisfies the regular ecommerce reporting.

Additionally, we recommend you to enable Enhanced Ecommerce reporting for better data & insights. Follow the first two steps mention on this blogpost for the same.

Please feel free to reach out for more information or help

Can you tell me what i would look for in the source code to confirm the code is being output?

Tag assist tells me it find 1 bit of code foe analytics, but it does not specify that i have ecommerce active.. thought it would.

    Thank you

    Hi,

You can look for the word ‘tatvic’ in the source code to check if our plugin code is added on your store.

Additionally, if you can share with us your store url, we will check & let you know if its working well or not.

    Thank you,

    All I see is
<!–Enhanced Ecommerce Google Analytics Plugin for Woocommerce by Tatvic.Plugin Version: 1.0.11–>

It doesn’t appear to have any kind of google code below it..

    Hi,

    Thanks for reaching us out.

Our plugin does add the code on your store. However, does not add exactly below our plugin comment.

For example – you can find our code on your check out page. Here is Screenshot.

We also did a quick of our plugin on your store & found that you are using a _gaTracker Universal Analytics Code (Screenshot)

Since you are using the above UA code, our plugin is not able to track the Ecommerce store data.

To enable Enhanced Ecommerce tracking on your store, kindly follow the instructions mention in either of the two methods:

Method 1: Disable the plugin you are currently using to add UA code & add the UA code through our Plugin. (You will find an option to do the same in our plugin settings page)

    OR

Method 2: Replace _gaTracker with ga in your existing Universal analytics code & add the following code before the pageview call:
    ga(“require”, “ec”, “ec.js”);
Once you do that, your code would almost look like this

    Hope this helps.

Please feel free to reach out for more information or help

Thanks for all your help Tatvic, so I disabled the other plugin and I’m (still) getting this error in tag assist saying I dont have analytics.js file?

I enabled the Universal analytics in your plugin, could you tell me if this error is important?

    Hi,

We did a quick check of our plugin on your store and found that the tag assistant does show missing analytic.js issue. It’s a little unusual since all the UA calls are firing well.

To learn more about your issue, can you confirm if you are getting the data in your Ecommerce reports?

    Thank you
