I have the latest version of your plugin installed. I have flushed my cache. But the colors stopped working after the last update and I can’t get them to appear anything but black right now. You can see the full calendar here.

The categories appear on the events, so I don’t think that is the problem.

Can you turn off your caching? I don’t even see that the Category Colors stylesheet is loaded, likely caught up in your caching.

Also, please deactivate the Fast Velocity Minify plugin.

Turning off the minify plugin turned the color coding back on. But obviously in this day and age, “minifying” is almost a requirement to try and speed up a website. How do we use minify and use your extension.
    Thanks.

The CSS produced by Category Colors is already minified. I believe the act of grouping it amongst all the other CSS is where the issue is. If you can exclude it from that plugin everything should work.

If your web server supports HTTP/2 concatenation of CSS and JS should no longer be relevant, though may still “show” on sites like GTMetrix as lowering your “score”.

thanks I get your point. but one of the things that is scored is how many CSS and JS files are called, not just if the individual ones are minified. So this will cause the score to go down even if it’s minified because it’s a 2nd CSS file. I personally don’t care. But some clients can be be a little obsessive about this stuff.

The point is your score may go down, but it’s not slowing the site down if you are using HTTP/2.

There seem to be many other optimizations that can be made to your site to improve both its score and load time.
