??Hello, today, I was made aware by my readers there is no comment box on my posts. Instead, there is a large blank space, and the code [script_11]. (Please see the photo.)

I have comments enabled both in Jetpack and in Settings, as well as on each post, and in the Soledad Theme Customization.

I have deactivated plugins as well, and still, the comments form does not appear.

    Please help.

    Thank you for your time.

P.S. I’ve only just discovered that if you’re signed in to www.ads-software.com, you can see the comment box. When signed out, you are unable to see it and you get the error code.

    Hi @booomcha

I was not able to replicate this on your site, either logged into www.ads-software.com or logged out.

However, I ran some tests on your site, and it seems that although your domain has a valid SSL certificate, it is still possible for one to access your site via HTTP. In fact, your visitors and search engines can use either HTTP or HTTPS to access your site.

This is an issue for search engines, since it often causes confusion and duplicate content, but it is also an issue for your site’s communication with WordPress.com, as our system does not know whether it should connect to your site via one or the other address.

To solve this issue, I would recommend that you change your site’s URL to HTTPS (you can do so under Settings > General in your dashboard), and then ask your host for help redirecting all traffic from HTTP to HTTPS.

You could also use a plugin such as Really Simple SSL to do this for you.

I’m not 100% sure this is what is causing the problem, but we’ll want to get it fixed so we can rule it out. Can you try the above?

Thank you for your reply. I did as you suggested, so the problem you mentioned should be fixed now.

However, the comment box problem persists.

I hope you’re able to figure out what is going on. Thank you again so much.

    Hey @booomcha
