    Hello,
I have been trying to comment on my blog posts but it is not working. My viewers cannot comment as well. I use custom permalinks (ex. https://www.mysite.com/interior-design), but once I change back to the default permalink, I can comment. Is there any way to be able To comment while still having my custom permalink set up? Thank you!

I’ve got it fixed now, but maybe you could help me with another problem that has risen. I just recently installed Jetpack and one of the features includes “sharing”. It says that these sharing features are located in settings>share in my menu. However, although I have settings, there is no share folder. Any ideas why? Also, I have a plugin installed that is supposed to put share buttons (such as facebook and twitter) after every blog post. However, these buttons only appear after the viewer clicks on “leave a comment”. The plugin is called Simple Social – Sharing Widgets & Icons Updated. Do you know why this happens? Thank you for any help.

It is likely a conflict between the two (or another plugin), use just one sharing plugin and make sure it is compatible with your version of WP and your theme.

The options in Jetpack need to be configured and saved.

Deactivate both plugins and then delete the one you will not use, and then activate the one you will use.

Sharethis is a very popular plugin.

Thank you so much! That was the problem. I really appreciate all of your help. If I have any other problems, can I contact you through your blog? Thanks again.

I think that asking that, or me answering, is frowned upon on this site…

Oh, I’m sorry. I was unaware of that. I guess I’ll just ask you on here then

I am not sure, based on your reply, if my last comment was clear…I have no problem with you contacting me through my blog, I am just not sure if I am supposed to point you to the fact that my name is a link to my blog (that has a contact form).

Oh, okay. I suppose it is allowed though because when I click on your user profile, it takes me to your blog…but I’m not sure myself.

Please mark this as resolved if you believe your issue has been.
