No Comments Meta With Custom Post

  • Hello, Kadence Support,

    I seem to be experiencing an error similar to–
    WP Support ? Theme: Kadence ? “No support for taxonomies with custom post type?”

    [I believe I need to solve this problem because I cannot add ‘comment counts per post’ to a posts list page (the page with which I need help), and need to eliminate this as a possible cause.]

    I installed the plugin you recommended at–

    –and checked your recommended settings. However, at Kadence ? Customize ? Custom Post Types, when I turn on “Show Comments?” at ALL listed Custom Posts Types, the comments count does not appear in the title, nor does the comment field appear at the bottom of the post.

    I deactivated all plugins except “Post Types Unlimited” but it did not help.

    Do you have any ideas of what to check?

    Hello, Support,

    I finally found the answer–I had not checked the “Allow comments” checkbox in the “Discussion” Screen Option element in the WP “Edit (custom post name)” screen.
