No Conditional loading on Pro version

    Hi,

    I think in the latest version of the free plugin you added some conditionality functionality so the js files were only loaded on a page where there’s a background video set? (Rather than load on all pages)

    ?I don’t think this is in the Pro version yet though. When I used the free version the videos in the carousel on this page https://emct.charitywebdesigns.co.uk/why-we-matter/? loaded and played OK in their lightboxes. But with the Pro version they won’t play because of a js error :

    Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property ‘length’ of undefined at window.onYouTubePlayerAPIReady (vidbgpro.min.js?ver=1.1.4:8)

    I want to use the Pro version because I need to stream the BG video from YouTube rather than from the server. It’s only on this page https://emct.charitywebdesigns.co.uk/what-we-do/?

    P.S. Another quirk is that on my Android phone with Chrome, it will show the fallback image if I’m using a YouTube bg video, but it will actually play the bg video if it’s set to use the mp4 version on the site.

    Hi Ben,

    I’m sorry I’m just seeing this now. For some reason WordPress unsubscribed me from all my plugin comments and I was no longer receiving them.

    Are you still experiencing this issue with Video Background and Video Background Pro?

    Additionally, yes, Android has released some new abilities to play video backgrounds on mobile. This will be addressed in the next release of Video Background and Video Background Pro.
