no confirmation email to subscriber

    hi guys,

    i’m using the mailchimp extension for cf7. i have an automated form which should go to subscriber i have a checkbox opt-in in the cf7 form. no double opt-in is checked. api’s correct. email is correct. i can send through my form on my website and get a success confirmation. but the subscriber isn’t getting the automated email from mailchimp

    does anybody had the same problem or any solution for this?

    Hi,

    I fixed the problem as following:

    CONTACT FORM:

    1.) Place in FORM: [EMAIL]

    2.) Palace in FORM: [acceptance acceptance-opt] per example.. I agree …… .[/acceptance]

    3.) Place in Mailchimp extension: Subscriber email: [EMAIL] and in Required acceptance field: [acceptance-opt]

    4.) Use COSTUM FIELDS: place there [EMAIL] – *|EMAIL|*

    That’s how it works with me.

    NOTE: If you do changes at mailchimp it takes up to 5 minutes until mailchimp server is responding proper to automation emails. Also if you are trying out and you are using the same email address for testing it works once only I figured out.

    Hi I am facing the same issue. I use CF7 along with MC for WP plugin, now the opt-in mail is not being sent to people who sign up.

    Could you please explain how did you solve this. I am sorry that I couldn’t really understand what you have explained above.
