    Hi,

    Mailchimp and plugin MailChimp for WordPress Lite don’t connect.

    My API key is correct, webhost said that CURL SSL is enabled, my website is retrieving WP updates and plugins. I have no firewall plugin (i have Better WP Security plugin).

    Can you help me?

    Edit: On my localhost is working great. I have this problem on my live site.

    Hi there,

    @vikingm, the problem is most likely in Better WP Security blocking requests. Are you able to get a connection when you disable that plugin? We can most likely configure a whitelist rule, but disabling is the easiest way to confirm.

    @babak_izadi, does the problem persist when you disable all other plugins (to test)? Does your webhost enable cURL SSL requests?

    When I disable Better WP Security in I save API key I get this message:
    Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home/viking/public_html/wp-config.php:95) in /home/viking/public_html/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 896

    @vikingm excuse me for asking my question through your post !

    @danny I don’t have any special plugin on my website and also I have the copy of this website on another webhosting and everything works fine!
    this hosting company told me that they have cURL SSL request enabled and asked me to give them the Port Number or URL to check the problem on the server!

    I solved problem with warning message. But now nothing happens when I ‘save’ API key. For about 20 seconds it’s trying to save and then nothing.

    Edit: I disabled all plugins except this, and after I click ‘save’ it’s loading for about 20 seconds and then nothing happens.

    Solved! My webhost made some changes in firewall.
