• Hi
Hope some one can offer some advice please.

I have just re-installed my Participants list for a WP site. I have used PL for a number of years.

When I installed the plug in everything worked well however on going to the settings page I get the header tabs but no content, for example when trying to modify my database fields I see the headers
    Participants Database
    Manage Database Fields

    Field Groups:

but no content between this and ‘Save’

So I am unable to modify the fields as I want.

If anyone could offer some help I would appreciate it

    kind regards

Sorry I should have added when first clicking on ‘Manage Database Fields’ in left hand menu the Participant member list opens when clicking for the second time the empty page above appears.

    thank you

What is the PHP version you are using? Should be a minimum of 5.3

    Hi

I have contacted hosting company to ascertain version of php will let you know asap

    regards

Strange. I am having a similar issue since yesterday with the Participants Database/Manage Database Fields page. Was populated with field name, attributes, etc (all per normal), but today only displays Participants Database
    Manage Database Fields
    Field Groups:
    and a blank page underneath.

Have never seen this before. Seems too coincidental but perhaps it is? Plug-in conflict?

If not the same issue as above I can open a separate thread but thought I’d start here.

    Thank you.

In re-reading the original post by clife my issue is EXACTLY the same (didn’t realize this at first). FWIW. Gene

Well, if you can get your PHP error log set up, it would really help me diagnose the problem. You can try the WP plugin Error Log Monitor

I have checked my version of php and it is showing as

    Core

    PHP Version 5.4.45

OK, that’s good. Are you able to see your error log? I’m very interested in finding out what’s happening, and so far I cannot duplicate it or see what might cause it.

Also, of course, what changed on your site? Did you install a new plugin? Update something?

FYI piggybacking on this thread – we too are experiencing the same issue with the blank database fields page, and I’m pretty sure it’s related to a plug-in conflict. Was working fine on a sandbox site prior to migration and installation of plug-ins not present on the sandbox site.

Have not implemented the php error logging yet; will report back when we find out more.

    Thanks.

If one of you wants to email me an admin login so I can take a first-hand look at it, I should be able to get a handle on it just by looking.

@clife in correspondence with gsorbo it looks like one or more of your plugin files did not get properly updated. I suggest you re-install the plugin using fresh files.

Don’t use “delete” (you’ll lose your database!) just deactivate the plugin, then upload fresh files from the repository, replacing the files in the plugin directory:

    https://downloads.www.ads-software.com/plugin/participants-database.1.6.2.8.zip

reactivate and it will be fixed! (hopefully)
