No custom URL

    Hey Stefan,

    The custom URL that i selected when inserting the media banner from the library is not loading in the code. So once the ad is posted to my site it goes to 404 Not found error page instead of going to the url.

    My site is urbanradiomagazine.com, the ads are fine but not linking to the url provided.

    How can this be corrected?

    Hi,

    Your links are empty. For example, your ad code looks like this:

    <a href="">
	<img src="/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/Blue-Tag-SEO-400x400-Social-Engagement1.jpg" alt="Blue-Tag-SEO-400x400-Social-Engagement" width="400" height="400" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-1748">
</a>

    You need to have something after href.

    You can insert a link just like you insert a link into a blog post. Here’s how to do that: https://ithemes.com/tutorials/adding-links-in-wordpress/

    Ok Eric I’m confused, why are we selecting a custom url when inserting the media to the post if it does work?????

    I fixed it! I just wasn’t expecting to have to write additional code to make this work…
