No Dashboard for ShopOwners

  • Hi,
    Thanks for this great plugin … but there’s no Dashboard menu for users with ShopOwner role. Users must have Administrator role to get the Dashboard menu.

    IT would be nice if you could fix this as this is not usable for me (I am not going to grant administrator role to a ShopOwner).

    I agree this is necessary but have assumed thus far that this module is not yet ready to share with regular Store Managers.

    Ideally, I’d like to see a specific WooCommerce page where this and other Woo permissions could be granted to individual roles (Beaver Builder is an example of how this can be done) rather than having to rely on plugins such as User Role Editor to assign specific capabilities. I’d also like to see capabilities defined at a granular level so custom roles can be created with a mix of different permissions according to need.

    I agree it seems silly to need a plugin like User Role Editor: this should be part of the core functions.

    Anyhow, that’s not the point, the Dashboard menu should be available for the ShopOwner role otherwise it is useless.

    Greetings all – this issue was fixed in the latest release: v0.13.0. I’m going to close out this thread now but please reply if you have any lingering issues around this.
