No Data Received

  • I’m experiencing intermittent connection problems to my site. Chrome loads a “no data received page” when this happens. Similar issues occur with IE and Firefox. Hosting service says there’s no problem, ISP can’t find anything wrong, and I’m experiencing this on my home PC and my Chromebook (on various networks). I’ve tried deleting cache, browsing history, cookies, etc. I also deactivated firewalls, virus protection software, and wordpress plugins with no success. This has been happening intermittently for about a week.

    anikducf, my ISP is ATT. I was using godaddy for hosting. Both blamed the other. I finally spoke with an ATT rep who told me that they had some problems with godaddy users abusing the servers (excessive or inappropriate use), so occasionally they have to block everyone on a particular shared server while they sort out the problem (or something to that effect). I was looking to leave godaddy anyway, so I switched hosts. Problem solved so far. Good luck.

    I recently been through same issue. In my situation it was a hosting issue, my ip was blocked. So all they did is unblock my IP and it worked.

    Reason for IP block, what hosting company told me was “IP was blocked from the wordpress login due to the password being used is too simple or easy.”

    getting those ‘No data received’ messeges too.

    this site works fine. all other posts are working. but some posts won’t show up. never had this problem since 2005. weird

    my wordpress admin site/dashboard is not populating with any data. My sidebar populates with some data tabs, but none work to open a screen. I have tried all browsers. I have not loaded any new plugins. All was working normally yesterday. I have not been able to use my dashboard/admin site at all today due to a blank screen,

    Even I am facing this issue from last few days. Please help to check & resolve the issue ASAP since I am not able to publish the posts.

    Site is working fine.But only the wp-admin page is not loading. After providing the credentials, it throws “no data received” error. Tried clearing the browser cache, tried on Chrome, Opera & IE but the same issue.

    This just popped up with me today. GoDaddy initially denied it was a problem on their side but eventually admitted there were issues on their Linux Server. Just requires letting tech support know that you are not a neophyte.
