No data received — ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE

  • When I try and publish a post today, I get the following error message in Chrome:

    No data received

    ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE
    Hide details
    Unable to load the webpage because the server sent no data.

    I’ve been tinkering around, and it only seems to happen if I include links in the post. If I just post text, no links, it publishes ok.

    Any ideas?

  • i am having the same issues on vegfeed.com

    Godaddy checked on sites and there were no issues. Seems like a WP issues.

    Checked with safari and it says connection was dropped.

    Tried on multiple wifi connections and same results.

    I have three wordpress websites all on of them hosted on GoDaddy.

    Today I when I tried updating my posts it shows the same error.This problem occurs on only one of the three sites and others working fine.

    At my end:
    1. Checked my Internet,found no issues.(Nothing Solved)
    2. Cleared all the Cache,Browsing History,temp files and tried disabling extensions.(Nothing Solved)
    3. Tried on various browser.(Nothing Solved)
    4. Spoke to Godaddy, they said everything is fine at their end.(Nothing Solved)
    5. Disabled all the plugins.(Nothing Solved)
    6. Changed the theme.(Nothing Solved)

    Now I dont know what to do.

    Hello! I am having the same issue. Trying to update a button on a page with a missing internal link and get the same error. I’ve done everything I found on the web in order to solve the err_empty_response to no avail. My site is in GoDaddy but I am not the webmaster. Has anyone been able to get some kind of response from GD or found some sort of solution?
