No Database backup! (for non-Dreamhost sites)

  • Hi, I checked with 4 (four) my websites (which aren’t on dreamhost, but I have dreamhost cloud services) this plugin and plugin don’t backup database, just files are backedup correctly. Wether I select All files & Database or just Database for backup. So it’s up to plugin. This is log I recorded:

    Please help and make update ASAP.

    edit: I checked FTP of my site, there’s folder “upgrade” but there’s no SQL file which should be there. So I think maybe problem is in process of backingup database.

    It does give you as much of an error as it can:

    [2019/03/09 01:45:22] Zip file failed to generate. Nothing will be backed up.

    This means that PHP and whatever version of zip you have on the server aren’t playing well together.

    It deletes the SQL on the failed backup so as not to put you at risk.

    Oh thanks man. I’m using PHP 7.2 (ea-php72), isn’t plugin compatible with that PHP version?

    Plugin is compatible up through PHP 7.3

    But that doesn’t mean the flavor of PHP you have installed is fully functional :/ Can you access your server error logs and see if there’s a better PHP error there?
