No database found!

  • I want to update to WP 3.0.1. To back up, from my control panel, I went to my phpMyAdmin, but it does not show any database! “No databases” is all I can see…

    well you have to have a database as your website is working – it would not connect if you didn’t have a database
    why not ask your host for help
    also, your database name is defined in the wp-config.php file

    Yes, that’s true. I have to have a database for WP to work. But I don’t know where it has disappeared. I added a couple of posts/pages, upgraded a few plugins, and when I wanted to upgrade to 3.0.1, “no databases”. Funny! Yet, the site works fine. Anyhows, I have raised a ticket and let’s see what happens.
