No databases in MySql

  • For some reason, cannot log into WP all of a sudden. The server seems to have dropped all the Mysql db’s.
    I get a error message saying “cannot establish connection”.
    Wondering if this is a WP or server problem? it seems to be fairly common.

  • I would say server problem, contact your web host and see if they have a backup of the database that they can restore.

    Thanks Cypher, it was the server. Their forum had a bunch of posts of Mysql being overloaded. Half an hour later, all is up again.
