Hi, we are using Business Directory with WP 5.5.1 and the Avada theme. For Editor level users, the Directory tab is no longer visible in the dashboard, and we are getting the following error:
Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/customer/www/*****/public_html/wp-content/plugins/business-directory-plugin/includes/admin/class-admin.php on line 407

The error doesn’t occur for Admin users. The error is occurring when no other plugins are activated, and it also occurs with the Twenty-twenty WP theme activated (in addition to it occurring with the Avada).

I’d appreciate any advice on how to resolve this issue.
    Thanks!

    Hi @wyrmwyrx

I’m sorry to hear that you ran into issues with this! We appreciate you reporting this issue.

Our dev team is working on a fix right now, and we hope to have that released shortly.

In the meantime, it may be best to put Editors on the Subscriber role, as that is the default role for Business Directory Plugin.

    I apologize for the inconvenience!

    Hi Bobbie,
Thanks for the reply. Will you reach out to me when a fix is available?

Hello, we are having the same problem: none of our users (except admins) are able to access the directory administration anymore.

Changing the role to subscriber doesn’t help either.

As a workaround, I’ve found that they can still access the listings by entering the URL directly: https://***/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=wpbdp_listing

Based on that, I suspect that it might have to do with the change “New: Merge admin menus together under a single menu.” with the new menu being hidden for non-admins.

    Cheers,
    Yannick
