No display of search icon at top right and social follow icons at top left

Hi!

1) To add search icon top right, you need to assign at least one link to the Topbar menu area – as the search is part of the topbar. Appearance > Menus. https://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/

2) To add social links, go to Appearance > Theme Options > Social Links and add the icons/links there. Icon example name would be “fa-facebook” etc.

Seems like you have one of the following:

1. Css conflict from a plugin, which breaks <i> classes with icons
2. Font awesome css loading issues of some kind
3. Have made modifications of some kind which has broken the theme, or unintentionally left some code sign too much somewhere

I find #1 most likely, so try diasabling all plugins and see if it starts working. If it does, re-activate them one by one to find the troublemaker.

Yes Alex, you are absolutely right ! , its a conflict from a plugin i installed called Assets minify, https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/assetsminify/

Deleted the plugin and the icons appear now !!

Huwaaatttt! I only discover this now. For a year since I downloaded Hueman theme, didn’t figure this out. Thank you Neville and most especially to Alexander Agnarson for this such an awesome theme. ??
