Yes. The purchase button shows up and works fine when I have a price above $0.00 set. But whenever I change the price $0.00, it stops working.

Yes, that is possible. I am willing to give you my login info to see if you are able to fix the problem. I believe that it has something to do with my themes style css over riding it. I am having the same problem with buttons not showing up in other plugins also.
