Hi – I have two supposedly identical versions of a Woocommerce site, with Woocommerce PDF packing invoices & packing slips installed; on the local one, the button displays perfectly on the Orders page (though it opens in the same tab rather than a new one as in the settings), but on the remote one there’s nothing! Do you have any idea what might be preventing it appearing? I appreciate it’s a vague question, but I’m hoping you might have some pointers!

    Thanks
PS – the Status page shows the same on each

Found it! My apologies – I hadn’t set invoices to be available ‘Always’ under ‘Allow My Account invoice download’ in the Document screen.

So – just the question about why the pdf opens in the same tab rather than a new one . . .

    Thanks

    Hi Pete,
The “How do you want to view the PDF?” setting only applies to the admin/backend buttons. This is because for the My Account section, the buttons are not generated by this plugin. PDF Invoices & Packing Slips can only pass a title and a URL to woocommerce and the rest of the output is handled by WooCommerce & your theme.

    Hi Ewout
    Many thanks for the explanation
