No downloads available

My issue is similar to the troubles someone else posted several months ago.

“When the plugin is activated, if a downloadable product has been previously purchased, the plugin let’s the customer know they purchased the product already. However, it also tells them there are no more downloads available, and therefor does not insert the download link. Though they can go to their account page and successfully download the product.”

Mine also shows the “Error” 3 times in a row. My items are variable with 3 options, so I’m not sure if that’s why it shows 3 times?

Also, on the screenshots, it looks like there is an option to turn the notice a different colored background? Where would that option be?
