No drop down to insert gallery

    Insert Gallery has stopped working.

    On a page or post

    When I invoke INSERT GALLERY (Classic Editor)

    Pop-up CHOOSE DISPLAY does not show a drop-down with my previously created galleries. Previous successful use of the plugin would place a drop-down to the left of: Are you inserting a Gallery (default,) an album, or images based on tags?

    Deactivated all plugins except NexGEN and the Classic Editor Plugins. Still no drop-down in INSERT GALLERY.

    Hi @chemins,

    We are sorry for a late reply. Could you please confirm that you are using a Safari browser version lower than 13.1?

    If this is the case, we have found that Optional Chaining that Select2 relies on in NextGen Gallery IGW for the galleries dropdown feature will not work with outdated Safari versions: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/JavaScript/Reference/Operators/Optional_chaining

    This issue doesn’t affect Safari 13.1 or later version as well as any other browsers. Updating to the new MacOS and respectively to a new Safari or using an alternate browser should work just fine.
