I am helping someone update their site. I want to shift the nav over a few pixels in the theme but there is no “Edit” under appearance. Just Themes, Customize, Widgets, Menus, Headers, Background and Dynamic Headers.
Where do I find the way to edit the css?

If the theme is a child-theme, just edit the style sheet directly (with ftp). If not, you can use a custom css plugin, or the custom css module of Jetpack if that is already installed.

Hmmm Thanks Bill. I don’t have ftp access. I guess I could install Jetpack ..

Jetpack is great but overkill if editing css is the only reason for installing it. I just mentioned that in case it was already in use. There are others just for css: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/search.php?q=custom+css.

Seems I don’t have permissions for adding plugins for some reason.

Is this site hosted at wordpress.COM? If so, that’s the reason. This forum is for www.ads-software.com self-hosted sites.

It is not hosted there it is just a regular web hosting company.

Are you logged in as an admin? Can the site owner add a plugin?
