• I am currently trying to build a site for a client through featuredblog. This application uses wordpress for website development. I am currently trying to enable Google webmaster functionality for this website but there is no “Editor” tab in the dashboard. For further clarification, I have included a picture.

I don’t know how to fix this – if it is even fixable at all. I am unsure if the featuredblog is restricting my ability to edit the page. Thank you all for your help!

  • Hey, Sarah!

Are you saying you installed a plugin and can’t find the admin entry for it?

    Augustin56,

I can’t install any plugins other than the ones they offered me. Before I installed miscellaneous plugins, the editor tab was still not visible.

The graphic you posted shows WordPress.com.

    Their support is at https://en.support.wordpress.com/

    kmessinger,

I don’t think the person creating the application would have put the wrong links to their support forum. Furthermore, it specifically states that it is a “www.ads-software.com” application.

Still, the graphic is not the normal WordPress dashboard for a self-hosted site. Must have something to do with the platform. Perhaps realtor.com can help as it is their platform.

What file are you trying to edit? There is an editor under appearance where you can edit files. If you are going to change core files you should use a child theme or otherwise your changes will be overwritten during upgrades.
