No effect on menus

I see this was updated recently. Perhaps the update broke it. Using Graphene theme, I enabled auto population of child entries (sorted by slug ascending) to two top-level menu items, one of which already had two submenu entries. Existing child pages were not populated into the menu. I also tried creating new child pages, and they were not added.

The developer’s website is kaput, so I was unable to seek answers in the documentation.
