I’d like to add a little more information. When I sign up, I do receive the email to confirm the subscription. I confirm it and get another followup email. However, I am not getting email notifications that a new article was posted.

    Hey there,

Thanks for posting. It sounds like you are successfully receiving the opt-in confirmation email, clicking the confirmation link, and successfully getting added to the list. Great!

The follow up post sounds like you’re not receiving email updates at the address you signed up with, when new posts are made to your blog. This is actually more of a MailChimp-specific question, rather than one that’s specific to the plugin.

For this reason, the best bet is to reach out to the MailChimp support team by email or live chat, and they’ll be able to troubleshoot why that RSS-driven campaign may not be sending as expected.

    belmontplots,

I was having the same problem. mc-tak pointed me in the right direction, and here’s what I found:

It looks like you need to set up an RSS-driven feed. Here’s MailChimp’s how-to: https://kb.mailchimp.com/article/how-can-i-add-any-blog-post-to-a-regular-campaign

    Hope this helps!

    Thanks!

Just to provide a bit of clarification, the FEED/FEEDBLOCK merge tags (which are in the article referenced above) can be used to insert RSS feed content into regular MailChimp campaigns.

If the hope is to have automated sending, where MailChimp campaigns are scheduled to send automatically (like daily, weekly, or monthly when new posts are in the RSS feed), that’s something that can be done with the RSS-driven campaigns specifically.
