No email notification for admin. And no status “New order”

In WooCommerce, when a customer submit the order, the order can be set to “processing” payment. Or “on hold”.

The Order Status depends on the payment gateway used when an order is placed.

The Admin doesn’t received any email about.

Before admin received a letters of New order. Now not. And no statuses “New order”. Only “processing”. Or “on hold”

If I understand you correctly, the admin is not receiving the New Order Email on your site, right? Can you please confirm if this is only happening to the New Order email or all emails on your site?

Have you checked under WooCommerce > Settings > Emails > New Order that this email is enabled?

To check if emails are being logged on your site, you could install the WP Mail Logging plugin. Create a test order and see if the email is being logged from this plugin.

Additionally, I’d like to understand your site properly, please share your System Status Report that you can find via WooCommerce > Status. Select Get system report and then Copy for support. Once you’ve done that, you can paste it into your reply here.

If you could also provide the fatal error logs (if any) under WooCommerce > Status > Logs.

Not quite. Earlier, if the customer makin an order, the status will set “New Order”. But now is not. Now after order the status: Processing, On hold.

Not quite. Earlier, if the customer makin an order, the status will set “New Order”. But now is not. Now after order the status: Processing, On hold.

There is no such thing as “New Order” status in WooCommerce, the first status the order will be given is Pending payment. You can check this guide to learn more about managing WooCommerce orders.

I assume you had a PHP custom snippet or plugin to achieve what you’re describing, perhaps you can find something in your functions.php file or in the Code Snippets plugin.

I should also note that the latest version of WooCommerce is 7.4.0, you can check this guide on how to update the plugin safely.

Just to clarify, while receiving an order triggers a “New Order” email to be sent out (intended to notify the users registered with the Store Manager role), its (order) status is (depending on the payment gateway used) usually set as “Processing”, or “Pending Payment”.

Furthermore, could you share with me what you were able to discover after installing the?WP Mail Logging?plugin, that my colleague suggested, please? How did it go with creating a test order, to see if the email is being logged from this plugin?
