no email notifications

  • For some unknown reason, when people comment on my site, I don’t receive email notifications that someone has commented. This didn’t use to be a problem when I had v2.1, but now I’m using v2.3. Also, I tried submitting something in a contact form I’d been using in the past and it also doesn’t send me email. If anyone could help me that’d be great.

  • Maybe your host changed the settibngs and the mail function is not available anymore?

    I’m having all mail sent to my Gmail account, so that shouldn’t be a problem right?

    I have the same problem too, since I installed WP 2.3.1. Any ideea why? Emaild going to gmail account.

    Heya,

    Are all your guys using shared hosting? I run my own dedicated server and I am not having this problem and I upgraded to WordPress 2.3.1 about 20 days ago.

    I would seriously look into your webhost for any issues pertaining to this.

    Follow the guide above my post in this thread and that should solve your problem. It worked for me.
