I am not getting an email notification when new users register to a blog in my network. I receive all other notifications and users receive an email with their password. The only thing that is missing is the notification to me that a new users has registered. I have tried:

    1. Disabling all plugins.
    2. Repairing databases.
    3. Changing network admin email.

The option “Send the network admin an email notification every time someone registers a site or user account.” in the site settings panel is ticked.

    Thanks

  • Are you getting comment moderation emails?
Did you check your spam folder?

Can you check on the server end to see if those mails were actually *sent*?

Sending emails is one thing (a server task, not a db task). receiving them on your end – or not – could be a multitude of reasons, none of which are on the website end but all of which are on your email receiver end.

    Hi Andrea,

I figured it was not the database but I thought I would repair it anyway just to rule it out.

I am not getting comment moderation emails either and I have checked my spam. In also changed my network admin email twice and still no luck. How do I check if the server is sending the emails? I am on a dedicated server so I am guessing i can check it.

Never mind I am slow today I have some custom mail filters that had been blocking the registration emails. Sorry for wasting your time and thanks for the help.

Doh. ?? If anything, I make people go double check their work.
