No Email or SMS notification for booking

We had 2 x bookings made on the 14th January – which we received an email notification & SMS notifications. We then got another booking on 15th January which we received NO notifications either email or SMS. Why would those not have been sent or how do I find out why? SMS Balance was listed as low a few days ago but the balance was topped up BEFORE this booking was made. And no email notification was received either way.
When I go into Email Notifications > Email logs, the log entries only show the notifications up till the 14th January – nothing for 15th January.
When I go into SMS Notifications > SMS Details, the log entries don’t show the actual booking details for me to match them up to the bookings received which is quite pointless. There is no SMS notification for the 15th January anyway.
