    hello
I just noticed that by testing my wp forms lite messaging, I do not receive the message on my messaging, and the client does not receive the confirmation of his request.

I looked at the tutorials and they indicate to install WP mail SMTP, but nothing changes.

However, in the automatic test that WP mail SMTP launches, I receive the mail well

I have version 1.6.1 and as theme ocean wp 1.8.4

(when I installed it 5 months ago it worked)
Thank you in advance for your assistance
    Best regards

  • Hello @bernard59500,

I’m sorry to hear that you’re having issues with email delivery.

To troubleshoot the issue, you can check your form notification settings using our tutorial.

If your notification settings are correct, the issue is likely due to server configuration issues, and/or strict email spam prevention settings that are wrongly detecting the notification emails as spam.

I’ve gone to the website and it seems that you may have removed the WP Mail SMTP plugin. To resolve email delivery issues like this, you can configure a SMTP plugin on your site so that emails are sent as authenticated. We have an article with a list of recommended SMTP options and links to their setup tutorials.

    I hope this helps ??

    Hello sir
I just changed in the settings the notification “recipient email address” by default by putting my email address directly and it works again
    is this normal?

    cordially
    Bernard

    Hello @bernard59500,

We’re glad to hear that the notification emails are being received. In case it helps, email service providers use different metrics to filter spam, some notifications are received while others are not. The best way that we know to ensure email delivery is to use an SMTP plugin.

    Thanks!
