No email sent after subscribe without commenting

    Hi @wpkube,

    Thanks for supporting this plugin, looks very promising.

    Looking forward to having this tested and working. Just started testing…

    I just tried to subscribe without commenting by clicking through “You can also subscribe without commenting.” I submitted my gmail address, and then got the confirmation message.

    Unfortunately, no email was received in my gmail account. I tested a Caldera form to see if there were issues with my WP initiated emails. The emails were sent out immediately, so no issues with WP sending out emails.

    I’m assuming you checked the spam folder as well, correct? Might have ended up in there.

    Not quite sure what happened here, in the forum it shows your comment was latest, but here on the actual page it shows my comment as being the latest. Did you perhaps answer but it’s not showing up?

    Not sure what happened either, I was checking the ticket for a few days after I opened it, and didn’t see your 1st response til now.

    Anyway, the gmail emails from the plugin did eventually come through, but slowly. When I ran the plugin through Yahoo, icloud, outlook, everything worked fine. Not sure why this plugin emails were slow on gmail, while Caldera whizzed right through. I’m guessing it may not be this plugin that’s the problem, but more of a gmail deliverablity / authentication issue on my end.

    Had you heard of any deliverability issues with this plugin and gmail?

    You’re welcome, sorry about the confusion, seems the forum bugged out a bit.

    What’s the URL of the website, I’d like to give it a try and see how long it takes to receive the email.

    The forum rules are kind of strict when it comes to plugin authors asking for passwords. I know asking for admin access is definitely forbidden but not sure what’s the situation in this specific case.

    But it doesn’t matter that much, I was just wondering if I’ll also experience the delay on my email. If you could try another GMail account and just see if there’s a delay on it as well.

    Also, install WP Mail loggin plugin. It logs all the emails, check if there’s anything weird with the logged email for StCR compared to the emails from Caldera forms.
