I clicked lost my password and received a message saying “Check your email for a confirmation link”

Could you please check you spam box. if you not find it. Please login into your Cpanel, and then your database. There you will find a table named “USER”. There is the password of your WordPress admin. And the password is in MD5 encryption format. You have to decrypt it first then you will get your password.
