Hi, I have setup Notifications for Custom Post Type-Portfolio-Published. I have enabled Send to Author Option, but no email are being sent. I have tried many times, but still not working. I’m using Wp-user-Frontend Plugin to allow users to submit portfolio from frontend.

Please help to enable this notification.

    Regards

    Hi @indrabhusanroy,
    Thanks for your message.

The reason the notifications aren’t triggering is that BNFW relies on a piece of content being transitioned between two post statuses in order to know which notification to send which the front-end form isn’t doing. Draft to publish will trigger the ‘New Post Published’ notification where ‘publish to updated’ will trigger the ‘Post Updated’ notification, for example. Usually a front-end form inserts a post directly into WordPress without transitioning it through any post statuses and so BNFW can’t detect anything has happened.

You may want to check out some of the support documents about handling plugins with front-end forms in order to get them to trigger notifications in BNFW.
A good starting place is here: https://betternotificationsforwp.com/documentation/compatibility/support-plugins-front-end-forms/

Let me know if this helps.
