  • @danallkins,

    Install a mail logging plugin on the site. Either of these is fine:

    https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/email-log/

    https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/wp-mail-log/

    This will allow you to see if the emails are being generated.

    Also, the sender for the email on your site seems to be the name of your blog also, this is a made up email address. Try selecting an administrator account name from the dropdown list with an email address on the same domain as your blog and see if that helps.

    Installed the first email log… yes it appears to show a list of emails – but still haven’t received an email to my test account I set up with a different email :/

    @danallkins,

    If you see the emails in the log then Subscribe2 and WordPress are doing their jobs and passing the mails on to the server. After that there is little I can do to help so it’s a case of speaking to your hosting provider and asking them why these emails are being blocked. (You might want to look in your spam folder first of course as it may have been delivered).

    Nothing in spam folder, and its not just me who isn’t receiving the emails. I will check with hosting company (dream host) and see if they can help. Cheers

    Right then……… thanks for all your help, I am the plank! – when checking my setting again I saw that the email address I had set up with the WP-mail-SMTP plugin had a totally different password and username than what I had typed! – the trouble of running to many sites!

    I corrected the username and password issue and all is working fine!!!! – many thanks!

    Where do I make a donation for all your hard work on this plugin?
    Dan
