    When a customer puts in a credit card on our checkout that has insufficient funds there is no ‘customer facing’ error given to them.
    The page just goes dark for a second and then comes back to normal.

    This make people assume nothing has happened so they continually press “Place order” with no effect and no errors visible.

    We have confirmed that an error is logged in the backend “card has insufficient funds” – but we need this to be customer facing as well.

    I understand that there is no error message that should appear if a customer uses a card with insufficient funds and thus makes it confusing for them to think that the order was successful.

    This is an unlikely behavior since an error message such as The card was declined should be displayed.

    Can you please try to perform a full conflict test to rule out if there are conflicts with your theme or any third-party plugin present on your site?
