In installed profile builder and created a login page by using the shortcode. Visiting this login page, and e.g. entering a wrong password, I don’t get an error message. Instead I get redirected to this page:

    https://www.mysite.com/wp-login.php?redirect_to=http%3A%2F%2Fheerlenstandby.marcbijl.nl%2Fwp-admin%2F&reauth=1

Which shows me the original WordPress login page…

    Any ideas?

  • Hi,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

Please try to deactivate all other plugin and use a default WordPress theme. Maybe there is a theme/plugin conflict.

    Let me know the results.

    Best regards,

Hi Teodor, thnx for the quick reply mate!

I deactivated all plugins, set the theme to Seventeen, deleted the browser cache completely, and still got redirected after entering wrong user id or password. You can check it here:

Just wanted to let others know Teodor just solved the problem.

The issue usually happens when the URL processed by the Login form is not correct and it goes to wp-login.php by default.

    So Teodor set:
    Settings -> General -> WordPress-adres (URL) / Siteadres (URL) -> https://www.heerlenstandby.marcbijl.nl instead of https://heerlenstandby.marcbijl.nl

    Now, everything works fine! ??

    Thnx Teodor, great support!

    Hi Teodor,

After reactivating all plugins, unfortunately I got another kind of redirect when trying to visit the custom made login page.

After doing some research, I found out there’s a conflict with the Members plugin (https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/members). With members activated, there’s a redirect; with members deactivated, everything seems fine…

I’ve sent you an e-mail with some detailed info.

    Cheers,
    Marc

    Hmm, problem solved, I think…

There was a setting in Members plugin, that said: Redirect all logged-out users to the login page before allowing them to view the site.

Turning this one off, everything seems fine now ??

    Cheers,
    Marc
