    Hi, after I mark as fixed one error message which populated my log the widget shows “The log file is empty.” message although the log has plenty of other error messages. I tried updating the page several times but that didn’t help.

    A couple of ideas:

    • Could it be that all the other error messages are older, so none of them are near the end/bottom of the log file? Due to performance considerations, the plugin doesn’t read the whole file, only the last X lines. If it doesn’t find any non-fixed errors that way, it won’t show anything. The limit is currently 1000 lines + the value of the “Number of entries to show” setting.
    • Is the plugin reading the correct file? It should show the log file name at the bottom of the widget. Verify that you’re looking at the same file / that the plugin is using the right file.

    Thanks for prompt reply. First option seems like the one describing the situation. I thought that no new messages can cause this but still decided to ask. Sorry for bothering you.
