Hi, I’ve installed your plugin but I’m not seeing any events. When I’m in the plugin settings I see “No event found” in the right part of the screen, the same on the page where I call shortcode [qem]. I have added events on the website. It works with the VSEL plugin (Very Simple Event List). Please advise what I need to do, thank you.

Do you have both plugins Very Simple Events lists and Quick Event Manager active at the same time?

Yes because I need it. Is it problem?

I expect have no events in QEM because you have put events into VSEL and not QEM.

Why do you need both, that seems strange….

I have checked the code of VSEL and I am afraid that VSEL and QEM are not compatible to use together as the both use the same custom post type ‘event’.

You will have to choose one or the other.

VSEL suits us because its plugin can be used well in the right menu, we can activate the display of content there – what the title should look like, whether the image is displayed, etc.
Furthermore, we want to display a short list of future events only in text, on the main page. Date + event title and detail link. Is it possible to solve something like this with your plugin?
VSEL does not offer us 2 different display variants, so I was looking for another plugin. You can see everything on the page https://centrumrudnacek.cz

QEM has list views and full page views as well as calendar views, it wont be exactly like VSEL but that is to be expected.

You can see and example of list here – scroll down to social events https://www.papercourt-sc.org.uk/social/
