I’ve set up a copy of this site as the latest version of ‘The Events Calendar’ causes all of the categories to return ‘NO EVENTS AT THIS TIME’ even though there are plenty of events. For instance ‘Music’ has Bon Jovi, Pink, etc.

If you search for either of these then the events are returned correctly. And the shortcodes appear to work as events are showing on the home page

Has anything specific changed with the latest update such as the date format or anything else that may cause the system not to see current events.

Unfortunately the current theme doesn’t have support any more, so I need a starting places to look if possible.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • I have the same problem – nothing comes up in the filter bar no matter what I search for. I just upgraded to Pro for a couple of reasons, that being one. The upgrade itself didn’t fix the problem. And, I can’t get in touch with support – I am logged in on a tab but when a click to submit a ticket, it asks me to log in again – and then won’t accept my credentials. (I have tried resetting my password.) I’m rather annoyed at the moment. :/

I was contacted to repair this same issue. When I try to create a new event, the date/time keeps returning to today’s date, and no events are showing up. Additionally when I click on the “view event” after saving, it brings up a 404 page.

UPDATE: My client had the Classic Editor plugin installed. When I disabled it and created an event with the Gutenberg editor, it worked. Previous events still show up, however only events created with Gutenberg seem to work.

Unfortunately this is not the same for me, there appears to be an issue with the timestamp. The events showing on the home page are show 1st January 1970, but if you view them in the single event page the date is correct.

I’ve tried changing the WordPress version to US English and the time zone to new york, but no luck.

I’ve deactivated all plugins except the events and woocommerce, no change.

Hi guys. As @lowthian mentioned, there have been issues saving events while using a plugin such as “Classic Editor” or “Disable Gutenburg” when the “Activate Block Editor for Events” setting is enabled in Events -> Settings.

Make sure that the setting is set correctly.

Sorry, this is not activated and not the problem I’m afraid.

I just went to your site @ruthvant

Your events page doesn’t look like The Events Calendar plugin. Did you make some changes?

It’s a site I inherited it is using a theme VanJones that is child to Eventmana.

The problem only occurred with the latest update to “The Events Calendar” its using Events Tickets, Events Tickets Plus.

Also have some templates in the theme, such as content-caledar.php, content-calendar-table.php

But they look like part of the Van-Jones theme.

I don’t have a login for the pro plugins as the previous user is not available.

The live site is working just fine on older version https://www.matchdayhospitality.com/
