I’ve run into an issue that seems to have come out of the blue. I haven’t touched Events Manager in quite awhile and all of the sudden when I look at the events in the admin panel it shows No Events Found, even though there are 700+ events in there. I’m assuming these 2 issues are connected, but since I can’t see any of the events in the admin panel all the pages now give a 404 error. But weirdly they show up in widgets and on the events listing page.

To this point I’ve tried to follow a few 404 error fix threads I’ve seen. I’ve re-saved my permalink settings multiple times. I’ve deleted and freshly installed the events manager plugin. I’ve rolled back the plugin to the previous iteration, all with no luck.

did you update any plugin or theme lately? also, just to confirm were you able to view events in the frontend?

I was able to track down the problem, though not quite sure on the why at this point. I turned off all the plugins and it started working. Then I went through the process of turning every single one on and off. Turns out it was WP Hide Post that was causing the issue. That plugin hasn’t updated in over a year, so I’m not quite sure why it was causing an issue now. Luckily it’s not a critical plugin, so I was just able to turn it off.

I was able to see the events on the /events page and in the sidebar widget, but couldn’t actually click and view the details of the event on the frontend.

I’m having problem that I couldn’t save the setting of Event Manager Plugin. The page prompted <404 Not Found> error. I tried the solution to update < Permalink Settings> to Plain. Unfortunately it didn’t work and i saw the new error below upon Even Manager Setting saving:

    Forbidden
You don’t have permission to access /wp/wp-admin/edit.php on this server.
Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

    Please help!!!
