My current set up has an event category as one of my menu items. Clicking it brings the user to a list of all the events within that category. Before I upgraded to 3.2, if there weren’t any events in that category, the page loaded as normal with a message saying there are currently no events in that category. After upgrading, if there are no events in a category, the page breaks. Nothing loads past the tribe-events-ajax-loading span within the tribe-events div. At first I thought perhaps it was because of some customizations I made, but I reset everything and removed all of my custom code, but it still breaks. Has anyone else come across this? Please advise.

  • That’s right and we’re sorry for any inconvenience – it is indeed a known bug and we should have a fix in the very next maintenance release, which will be available shortly. In the meantime, if you feel comfortable doing so, you can workaround this by:

    • Locating the-events-calendar/lib/tribe-template-factory.class.php
    • Replace the code in that file completely, substituting this code instead

That should get things operational again (and when the next update arrives it will incorporate pretty much the same fix, so you need not worry about it being lost upon updating).
